Our Methodology

We rank businesses based on a comprehensive evaluation of customer reviews, industry certifications, and business practices. Our ranking algorithm considers multiple factors including customer satisfaction scores, response times, quality of work, and industry standing.

We visit the actual locations and we talk with management and often the owners of businesses. We talk with customers and members of the local community about how they feel about the businesses being reviewed. Often, it is community members who make the recommendations for our lists.

Our team is often a customer of the businesses on this list, and the list is likely a representation of how enjoyable and how professional our personal experiences have been.

We take online reviews into heavy consideration, but online reviews do not mean everything. Often, if you actually read the online reviews, negative ones are often due to the actions or lack of knowledge by the customer. We have seen negative reviews where a business was given a low ranking because the customer went to the wrong location because an address was listed incorrectly on another site, or because the business was not willing to give a discount because of a long wait due to the business's own popularity.

The online reviews have to be read and taken into perspective. We feel it is important to remind everyone that humans are often emotional and irrational. And we need to remind everyone that people are far more willing to post an online review from a negative experience than they are a positive experience. All of that is taken into consideration.

Some or all of our listings are sponsored posts. The number of available spots on a list is determined by market availability of that particular industry in a given region. Some industries can support larger lists, and some are smaller. Presence on our lists exists in a first-come, first-serve basis. If we have a spot available, we are glad to accept a sponsored business. We may not expand a list beyond its current total length (list of 10 or list of 20) due to the lack of available demand just because a single business may want to be added.

The location on our list does not endorse or dismiss the capabilities and talents of any of the businesses who are on our lists and who are not on our lists. We are simply providing a marketing ability for a particular business to advertise their talents, availability, and existence in a particular area and industry. The presence of a company on a list that describes 'top' or 'best' talent does not imply or endorse that a company is better than any other company. It simply allows for companies to participate on a named list and a named domain that is not controlled by them. The companies may not be endorsing themselves as 'best' or 'top', or better, more worthy, or more capable than any other business.

Our rankings are based upon our own interaction with the companies, regardless of their sponsored posts, unless the companies have paid to be a featured listing. Featured listings flow to the top of the page. It does not imply that any company is better, but is merely being featured.

Featured and sponsored posts are explicitly marked as such. Each featured and sponsored business is badged as such on both our main listing page(s) and on the individual business profile page.

We reserve the right to refuse doing business with any company that we may not approve of, or that does not have the community support that we feel will damage our brand. This refusal is not a dismissal or targeted message to the public or business community. It is simply a business decision on our behalf to control our reputation and business as we see fit for the best path and reputation of our business.
